Reflecting on some of the worst tourist behavior I’ve witnessed, one incident in Rome stands out. At the Trevi Fountain, a group of tourists was climbing over the barriers to take selfies, completely ignoring the rules and the historical significance of the site. It was frustrating to see such disrespect, and it made me more conscious of my own actions as a traveler. Respecting local customs and sites is so important to preserving the beauty and culture of our destinations.
