Why do we still use daylight saving time?

Hello! It always feels like a hassle when the clocks change, and I’ve heard debates about whether it’s still necessary. What’s the real purpose of it nowadays, though?

Hey! The main reason for daylight saving time was originally to make better use of daylight during the longer days of spring and summer, helping to save energy. Nowadays, the benefits are debated, with some arguing it’s outdated and causes more hassle than it’s worth, especially with the impact on sleep and productivity.
