When it comes to length, the blue whale has the record of being the largest animal in the world; one may reach up to 100 feet (30. 5 meters) long and a whopping 150 tons (136 metric tonnes) – imagine that as the building being as high as 8 to 10 stories high.

However, the Argentinosaurus, and other dinosaurs, were much larger while they were still not as large as the blue whale in size.
