When it comes to length, the blue whale has the record of being the largest animal in the world; one may reach up to 100 feet (30. 5 meters) long and a whopping 150 tons (136 metric tonnes) – imagine that as the building being as high as 8 to 10 stories high. Wow, the blue whale is truly amazing! It's incredible to think they can reach up to 100 feet and weigh as much as 150 tons – that's like an 8 to 10-story building swimming in the ocean! When you compare that to other animals, it's mind-blowing how diverse nature is. From the massive African elephants to the towering giraffes and even the huge whale sharks, our planet is home to some pretty impressive creatures. Next time I see an animal documentary, I'll definitely have a greater appreciation for these giants!
