Okay, this one is straight-up bizarre—you can tell the difference between hot and cold water just by the sound they make when poured. Apparently, it’s because of the viscosity and the way the molecules move at different temperatures.
I tested it, and now I can’t un-hear it. Try it out and let me know if I’m not just imagining things. Also, why does this even happen?! Science is so weird sometimes.
