The human body in fact hosts a huge amount of blood vessels; experts put the figure at anything between 60 000 and 100 000 miles long. If you laid them end-to end – although I don’t think I could manage that – you’d have material to stretch more than three times around the world

Imagine having that many blood vessels in such a small body. We’re basically walking globes!
