Hi everyone! I've recently come across Zoroastrianism and am fascinated by its rituals. How are these rituals practiced in the modern world? Are there any particular ceremonies or traditions that have been preserved or adapted over time?

Rituals are still essential to communal and spiritual life in modern Zoroastrianism, carrying on age-old customs while making adjustments for current settings. Worship continues to revolve around rituals like the Yasna ceremony, which includes the reciting of holy scriptures and sacrifices. Additional customs emphasize social cohesion and spiritual rejuvenation, such as the Navjote initiation rite for new followers and the Gahambar festivities honoring seasonal plenty. These customs, which stand for persistent faith and cultural endurance, not only bind Zoroastrians to their rich past but also reinforce their dedication to moral behavior and the worship of Ahura Mazda. 🔥🙏

Seasonal celebrations like Nowruz mark Zoroastrian New Year. I think with rituals of purification, feasting, and prayers for renewal, though customs blend ancient tradition with modern life. 🌿🌸
