It’s crazy to think that Lionel Messi, often regarded as the greatest footballer ever, wasn’t even nominated for this year’s Ballon d'Or! Even though he's won it multiple times, his exclusion definitely shocked a lot of fans. It just goes to show how competitive the world of football is and how even the best can miss out on top awards depending on the season. There’s always so much debate over who deserves the title, but one thing’s for sure—Messi’s legacy in the sport is secure!
