Traditional pound cake got its name because it was made with a pound each of butter, sugar, eggs, and flour.
 
Oh, I love how traditional pound cake is rooted in that simple one-to-one ratio of ingredients—so classic! It really shows how sometimes the simplest recipes are the most delightful! 🍰✨
 
No wonder it’s so rich and delicious! 🍰 Imagine baking (or eating) a full four-pound pound cake—sounds like a challenge worth taking on! 😆 Has anyone tried making one the traditional way?
