Okay, so I just found out that in some countries, the government has an official list of names parents are allowed to use for their babies. Like, if you want to name your kid something unique, you need to get government approval. Iceland, Denmark, and even Germany have these rules. Imagine wanting to name your kid "Zephyr" and having to file paperwork for it. 
I get that they want to prevent, like, ridiculous names, but who decides what’s “acceptable” or not? Would you be okay with this in your country, or does this feel way too Big Brother-y?
