Are religious experiences just brain chemistry at work?

People describe deep spiritual moments—prayer, meditation, visions—but is this something divine, or just the brain producing chemicals like dopamine and serotonin?
 
It’s interesting how spiritual experiences can feel so real and life-changing, but at the same time, science points to brain chemistry as a possible explanation. Maybe it’s both—maybe the divine works through our biology. Either way, the impact these moments have on people is undeniable.
