Hinduism has so many gods and goddesses, but I’m curious about the ones that aren’t as well-known. Do any of you know some interesting stories or myths about these lesser-known deities?

Hinduism is full of fascinating deities beyond the well-known ones. For instance, there’s Matsya, the fish avatar of Vishnu, who saved humanity from a great flood. 
And then there’s Ayyappa, a popular deity in South India with a story tied to devotion and mystery. 
Each lesser-known deity has their own unique and rich mythology.
