Are there any lost or forgotten religious rituals that fascinate you?

Hey folks! I’ve been thinking lately about all the rituals that might have existed in different religions but were lost or forgotten over time. Do you think some of these older practices would still have meaning today if they hadn’t been lost? For example, I heard about an ancient Jewish water ceremony that isn't really practiced anymore. Are there any rituals you’ve read about that you find particularly fascinating or wish were still part of modern spiritual life?

That's an intriguing thought! Many ancient rituals carry deep symbolism and community significance that could enrich modern spiritual practices. The ancient Greek practice of offering libations to the gods is one that stands out; it was a way to connect with the divine and show gratitude. Reviving such rituals could add a layer of mindfulness to contemporary life.
