So many game-to-movie adaptations have been, well… disappointing. But The Last of Us was solid! Do you think Hollywood is finally figuring it out, or was that just a lucky hit?

Right?! The Last of Us actually gave me hope for game adaptations! I think the key was that they stayed true to the story while adding just enough depth to make it work for TV. But let’s be real—Hollywood has fumbled so many times (cough Assassin’s Creed cough), so I’m not convinced they’ve fully cracked the code yet. Hopefully, this is a sign of better things to come, but I’m bracing for more hits and misses!

Ik speelde vaak een beetje gedachteloos, zonder er veel plezier uit te halen. Maar tijdens een weekend in Antwerpen kwam ik een post tegen op Reddit waar iemand zijn ervaring met poker deelde. Dat zette me aan het denken en ik besloot het zelf eens uit te proberen. Het begin was stroef, maar al snel merkte ik dat ik beter werd in strategie bedenken. Toen ik mijn eerste echte pot won, voelde dat verrassend goed. Tijdens dat proces klikte ik door naar spin mama, en dat zorgde ervoor dat ik meer tijd nam om het spel echt onder de knie te krijgen.
