Hi everyone
I’ve been thinking of upgrading my kitchen and am considering getting an induction cooktop. I’ve done some research online, but I really want to hear from people who are actually using one in their daily cooking.
I understand, induction cooktops are more energy-efficient than gas or electric stoves. They heat up really quickly, which is great when you’re short on time. Another thing I like is that they are easy to clean since the surface doesn’t get very hot—any spills usually just wipe away.
I’m a little confused about the different models and features. Some cooktops come with touch controls, timers, and multiple heat settings, while others are more basic. I’m also wondering how reliable they are in the long run. Are there brands that tend to last longer? And what about safety—are they really safe to use around kids? I plan to cook a variety of meals, from simple stir-fries to slow-simmered sauces. So, I need a cooktop that can handle both high and low heat consistently. Another concern is the size—some kitchens have limited counter space, so a compact model would be ideal, but I don’t want to compromise on performance.
If you’ve recently purchased an induction cooktop, I’d love to hear your thoughts on these points:
Thanks in advance!

- Which brand or model would you recommend and why?
- How’s the heating performance and temperature control?
- Any issues you faced after a few months of use?
- Is it worth the price compared to other types of cooktops?
Thanks in advance!
