My garden is flourishing at the moment, but my salads are really bitter. I was reading some advice on abodelook about lettuce types that don't bolt, and I may not have the right one for the summer. Has anyone got any suggestions for which types of lettuce are less likely to bolt and taste bitter once 80 degree days and nights begin? I want something that's crunchy but tough.
