On Sept. 11, BLACKPINK Lisa attended the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which took place in the UBS Arena in New York. She performed her latest songs "New Woman" and "ROCKSTAR" at the awards show, and also bagged the "Best K-Pop" award (with "ROCKSTAR"). 
This recent feat marks her second time winning the "Best K-Pop" at the MTV Video Music Awards. She first took home recognition in 2022 with her debut song "Lalisa".
At the time, she made history as the first soloist to win the award. Now, she has become the first soloist to win the award twice at the same event.
