Buddhism is unique in that it focuses more on personal spiritual development and the pursuit of enlightenment rather than worshiping a deity. One challenge of practicing Buddhism in Western society is the fast-paced, materialistic culture, which can be at odds with Buddhist principles of mindfulness and simplicity. However, the benefits include a greater sense of peace, mindfulness, and understanding of oneself and others.
I think exploring Buddhism's approach to enlightenment can provide valuable insights into achieving inner peace and understanding. Though, it’s interesting to see how these teachings intersect with other spiritual paths.
