Can almond milk made from different varieties of almonds (like sweet vs. bitter) significantly alter the taste and texture of the milk?

I’m intrigued by the idea of making almond milk from various types of almonds. I’ve read that there are both sweet and bitter almond varieties. How do these different almonds affect the flavor and texture of the almond milk? Has anyone experimented with this and found any noticeable differences?

Sweet almonds are typically used for almond milk since they give a mild, nutty flavor. Bitter almonds, however, contain toxins and are usually not used in food. Stick with sweet almonds for a smooth, creamy texture!

Ooo, that's a cool idea! 👀 Sweet almonds would probably give you that mild, creamy taste we're used to, but bitter almonds might bring an earthy, stronger kick—though you'd need to watch out for toxicity with raw bitter almonds. 😬 Curious if anyone's tried it!

almond milk made from different almond varieties can significantly alter the taste and texture, with sweet almonds producing a milder, creamier flavor and bitter almonds giving a more intense, slightly astringent taste. 🌰🥛
