Confused About Using the Portal Kenderaan Malaysia for Vehicle Services

Hi everyone,

I recently started exploring online vehicle management services in Malaysia and came across the Portal Kenderaan Malaysia platform. I’m trying to understand how useful it is for tasks like road tax renewal, checking summons, ownership transfers, and insurance updates.

Some users say the process is simple, while others mention technical issues and delays during verification. I would appreciate hearing real experiences from people who have used the system recently. Is the Portal reliable for daily vehicle-related matters, or is it still better to visit JPJ counters directly?

Also, are there any tips for first-time users to avoid mistakes during registration or payment?

The Portal Kenderaan Malaysia is generally useful for quick tasks like checking summons and renewing road tax, and many users find it convenient compared to going to JPJ counters. However, it’s not always fully stable, and some people do experience delays or system errors, especially for ownership transfers or verification processes.

So, it’s fairly reliable for daily/basic vehicle matters, but not perfect yet. JPJ counters are still better as a backup for more complex transactions.

For first-time users, make sure your details match JPJ records exactly, double-check all information before payment, and save receipts/screenshots. Also, avoid peak hours to reduce the chance of system issues.
