It’s amazing how a film that struggled initially can later be recognized as a classic. 
The gap between 'Sleeping Beauty' and 'The Little Mermaid' really shows how much the industry changed during that time. 
Imagine if Disney hadn’t taken the leap with 'The Little Mermaid'—we might not have the Disney Renaissance we know today!
