Do ghosts ever get mad at exorcisms? Like, do they hold grudges?

So we always hear about exorcisms working (or not), but what if a ghost/demon/whatever gets kicked out of a place and is just like... sulking somewhere else? Do they ever try to come back later out of spite? Or do they just move on and find another spot to haunt? If you were a ghost and someone forcefully evicted you from your favorite place, wouldn't you be a little ticked off?

Right? Imagine being a ghost, just chilling in your favorite haunt (literally), and suddenly some priest or paranormal investigator kicks you out. I’d definitely be lurking nearby, planning my comeback out of pure spite. Maybe that's why some places stay haunted—it's just ghosts refusing to let go of the grudge!
