Eagles linebacker Devin White has been ruled out of Friday's season opener against the Packers due to an ankle injury and will not travel with the team to São Paulo, Brazil. White, who signed a one-year, $4 million deal with the Eagles this offseason, was limited in Tuesday's practice before being declared out on Wednesday. With White sidelined, Nakobe Dean is expected to start alongside Zack Baun in Green Bay.
An ankle injury can be tricky, especially this early in the season. It’ll be interesting to see how Nakobe Dean steps up in his absence alongside Zack Baun.
