Why eating squab isn't a thing anymore?
It has a very tasty meat, superior to chicken in many ways. My MIL used to create delicious dishes from pigeon meat for Sunday dinners and special occasions. It's a delicacy!
I read that squab used to be popular once in the US. It used to grace the menus in American haute cuisine restaurants. I have been to some, but didn't see it served anywhere. Perhaps they are, in NY or LA or Chicago etc. I will keep an eye on the menus when traveling. Had squab dishes in other countries but not in the US...
