Ellen DeGeneres Initially Turned Down Voicing Dory from "Finding Nemo"

Ellen DeGeneres, who voiced Dory in "Finding Nemo" and "Finding Dory," has a personal connection to the character. She initially declined the role because she didn’t think the character was important enough, but Pixar convinced her otherwise.

Wow, that's interesting! It's amazing how Pixar could show Ellen how special Dory really is. I’m glad she took the role—Dory’s one of my favorite characters!
