Vice President Kamala Harris has agreed to join a roundtable discussion with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, as confirmed by her campaign and the union. This move aims to win over working-class voters ahead of the November election. The Teamsters, a major union with 1.3 million members, have yet to endorse a candidate for 2024. While some Democrats are frustrated with Sean O’Brien, the union president who spoke at the Republican National Convention, Harris’s roundtable will provide an opportunity for her to present her plans and vision to Teamster members. Former President Trump and President Biden have already had similar discussions with the union earlier this year.
