Has anyone tried brewing traditional Ethiopian coffee in a siphon coffee maker?

So, I recently got into Ethiopian coffee, and it’s AMAZING. I know the traditional way to brew it is with a jebena, but has anyone here tried using a siphon coffee maker for it? I’m curious if the siphon method would bring out the same flavors or if it messes with the richness. Anyone played around with this at home?

Ethiopian coffee really is something special! ☕️ I’ve heard that brewing it with a jebena brings out the unique flavors, but using a siphon coffee maker sounds like a fun twist. I imagine the siphon method could create a different texture and might highlight some of the coffee’s brighter notes. I haven’t tried it myself yet, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has! Have you noticed a difference in taste when you used the siphon?
