How come we rarely hear about politics in Bhutan?

Okay, so I was reading about Bhutan’s happiness index (cool concept, btw), and it got me thinking—why don’t we hear much about their politics in the news? Is it just super stable, or does the government keep a low profile on purpose? Anyone here who knows more about how their system works?

Great question! Bhutan’s focus on Gross National Happiness over GDP is so unique—it really shifts the political conversation. From what I’ve read, their monarchy transitioned to a democratic constitutional monarchy not that long ago, and the political scene is pretty calm and consensus-driven. Definitely wouldn’t mind hearing more about how they keep things so chill.
