Is "gratitude" underrated in spiritual practice?

So, I’ve been thinking—most religions talk a lot about forgiveness, love, compassion, etc., but what about gratitude? It seems like one of those core values that’s a bit underrated or maybe just gets swept under the rug. How often do we focus on gratitude as part of our spiritual lives? I’m curious if you guys think it’s a central part of your practice or maybe a bit sidelined. And if you do focus on it, how does it affect your day-to-day outlook? Wondering if practicing gratitude actually changes how we experience our faith.

Such a good point! I think gratitude often takes a backseat in many spiritual practices, but it’s definitely just as important as forgiveness and love. When we focus on being thankful, it helps shift our mindset and deepens our connection with our faith. For me, practicing gratitude makes daily life feel more meaningful—like I appreciate the small things more. It also makes me more patient and compassionate toward others, which ties into everything my faith teaches. 🌟 Does focusing on gratitude shift how you view your spiritual life?
