Is there a difference between Dijon and yellow mustard besides color? Or is it all just the same?

I’ve always wondered—other than the obvious color difference, does Dijon mustard actually taste different from the standard yellow mustard? Or is it just a matter of preference? I’m trying to figure out if it really changes the flavor in recipes.

Great question! 🌟 Dijon mustard definitely has a different flavor compared to yellow mustard. While yellow mustard is milder and a bit tangy, Dijon has a more complex, sharp, and slightly spicy taste. It’s made from brown or black mustard seeds, which give it that unique kick! So, if you're using it in recipes, it can really change the overall flavor of your dish. It’s perfect for salad dressings or marinades where you want that extra depth. 🍽️✨
