The Dallas Mavericks to sign former GS Warriors Klay Thompson for a three-year $50 million deal with a sign-and-trade for Josh Green from Charlotte Hornets. Even though Scoops and noise, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, announced that the signing deal is near, TNT Sports’s Chris Haynes says the signing is ongoing. Thompson is another legend of the Warriors who had a significant contribution to the team championships and is famous for shooting; however, he had a comparatively less effective previous year, and his average scoring was seventeen. With a score of 9 point per game and occupying the fourth place in the total number of three-point field goals. He is no longer as penetrative as he used to be because of the previous injuries he has undergone through but this signing aims at strengthening the mavericks particularly from the trinity shooting. Thompson another free-agent who had earlier been with Golden State under a five-year deal now intends to continue in Dallas although he has the same ambitions like Durant.
