Rittenhouse for becoming angry at Indigenous people for disrespecting the statue demanding their turn and saying that Rittenhouse does not see that Indigenous people have their rights since they are the actual owners of the land. It captures an aspect of irony and audacity of a colonial master’s descendant dictating to the post-colonial subjects to go away. Moreover, the author gives a powerful response to the ‘If you don’t like it here then leave’ mentality, popular among whites. 🌏

The audacity of Rittenhouse getting mad at Indigenous folks for wanting to be treated with respect is truly priceless. That is a bit like the white man’s heirs telling the first occupants of the land to clear off. This entire idea of ‘if you do not like it then go elsewhere’ is something that is stale and outmoded. 🌍🤔

Yeah, it's wild seeing Rittenhouse get all bent out of shape when Indigenous folks just want some basic respect. Like, c'mon, dude, check your privilege at the door. 🫢

Isn't it wild how Rittenhouse, whose ancestors were colonizers, is mad at Indigenous folks and tells them to leave, but it's their land to begin with? The irony is almost too much to handle, like, dude, seriously?
