Linguists report that over 50% of the world’s 7,000 languages are at risk of disappearing, as younger generations increasingly adopt dominant languages, leading to a loss of cultural heritage.
 
This is so sad to think about. Every language carries so much history, culture, and unique ways of seeing the world. It’s heartbreaking that so many are at risk of being lost forever. I hope more efforts are made to preserve them before it’s too late
 
I also explored Hello in morse code through a Morse code translator, and it made me appreciate how everyday greetings can be transformed into a historical communication method. It’s a fun way to learn how languages and symbols were adapted for long-distance communication before modern messaging systems existed.
