The month of June inflation rate in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental also slightly boosted to 4% to 2% in May as per from PSA records. This was brought about by the eruption of Mt. Kanlaon which affected the prices of some goods including the food and non- alcoholic drinks even though the Department of Trade and Industry placed an automatic price hike on essential commodities due to the natural disaster. In Negros Occidental, inflation was mostly delivered by the group of food and non-alcoholic beverages particularly the index which went up to 6. 6%, transportation which leaned to 2. Inflation rate in Bacolod City has risen to 6% -1 % was an increase in the necessities of life goods; food 4% . 🗻

Hey! Just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion 😊. Due to the Mt. Kanlaon eruption, inflation in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental bumped up to 4% in June from May's 2%, mainly due to higher prices for food, drinks, and transportation 🚀📈.
