New to the Philippine Freelance Market – Any Suggestions?

I'm a freelance copywriter who creates product descriptions, landing pages, and marketing content. Most of my previous clients came through referrals, but now I'd like to reach businesses in the Philippines and build a more consistent client pipeline.

There seem to be dozens of freelance platforms available, and I'm not sure which ones are actually worth investing time in. Have any writers here successfully found clients through online marketplaces? Which platforms would you recommend, and what was your experience like getting started?
