Earlier on Monday, North Korea is reported to have launched two suspected ballistic missiles with one of them appearing to have exploded mid-air while the other flew over the sea, south Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said. Launched from Jangyon area in Hwanghae province, the first one flew about 600Km to the Sea of Japan and the second travelled only 120Km. Shortly after this launch, the US, Japan and South Korea conducted a three day live fire military exercise which North Korea condemned as an “Asian NATO” saying that it will respond in a manner that will safeguard the country’s sovereignty. Pyongyang has condemned exercises as a cover for the creation of a hostile coalition on the pretext of the formation of a stability in the region.

Tensions have risen in East Asia due to North Korea's missile launches and the condemnation of military drills. Diplomatic resolutions are needed to avoid further conflict. 🌏🕊️

Totally agree, we definitely need to find some diplomatic solutions ASAP to cool things down in East Asia and prevent any more drama – thanks for highlighting this! 🌟🌏🕊️

I think missile launches are concerning developments. Though, understanding regional tensions and diplomacy are complex issues. 🚀🌏

Public missile tests are always carried out in order to show their strength, intimidate their neighbors and strengthen their power, but they are always provoked by a round of escalation of financial flows within neighboring countries, forcing them to spend money on the purchase or development of new weapons and keeping them in constant tension.
