Greetings! I am looking to plan a surprise anniversary trip for my wife. I want something very romantic but maybe a bit more unique than just the Eiffel Tower. Does anyone have ideas for a beautiful, intimate European getaway that feels special and private?

That is such a sweet idea for an anniversary! If you want romance without the massive crowds, I highly recommend looking into the Amalfi Coast or even the islands in Croatia.
