Roses have been cultivated for over 5,000 years and are one of the oldest flowers known to humanity. They were revered in ancient civilizations like those of the Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians, who used them for decoration, perfumes, and medicinal purposes. In fact, the rose is the national flower of the United States, and it symbolizes love, beauty, and resilience.

Wow, 5,000 years is a long time! Imagine the many changes that roses have witnessed throughout the years. 🌹 I wonder where they were first cultivated. 🥀🤔
