A drama about the Russian ladies who wed(join) ISIS terrorists has led Playwright Svetlana Petriychuk and Theater Director Zhenya Berkovich to 6-years jail term for “extortion of terrorism”. Berkovich and Petriychuk, who were accused but denied the charges, will appeal the verdict, stating that the play was actually about women as victims of evil, not-terrorism.
