Salt on raw tomatoes, yes or no?

A good friend of mine is insisting that most people do not use salt when eating raw tomatoes, and stated that most including himself find the idea disgusting. While this and other food preferences are subjective, I think most people DO like salt on their raw tomato slices and cherry tomatoes.

So I ask you this, salt on raw tomatoes, yes or no?
