That's correct! While giraffes are known for their long necks, sloths actually have more neck vertebrae. Sloths have nine neck bones, while giraffes have only seven. However, giraffes' neck bones are much longer, which is why their necks are so much longer overall.
 
That’s such a cool fact! It’s surprising that sloths, with their shorter necks, actually have more neck bones than giraffes. Nature always has its interesting twists!
