Small Bathroom Floor Tile Layout Tips

Hi everyone! I am working on a tiny powder room and I can't decide on the floor. I’ve heard that small tiles make the room look cluttered, but big tiles might look weird in such a small space. What layout worked best for your small bathroom projects?

Good day! I actually just finished a tiny bathroom remodel and I went with a medium-sized hexagon tile. It adds a nice geometric pattern without feeling overwhelming. A big tip I learned is to run the tile straight through into the shower area if you can, as it makes the floor plan feel much larger. I hired Dream House Tile https://dreamhousetile.ca/ to handle the layout because I wanted the cuts to be perfectly symmetrical. They offer excellent tile installation services in Toronto and GTA and they were really helpful in choosing a grout color that didn't contrast too much. Keeping the grout close to the tile color helps the space feel more open and less "busy." My tiny bathroom honestly looks twice as big now just because of the clever tile choice.
