The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) is affecting Extreme Northern Luzon on Sunday and will bring scattered rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands, PAGASA said in its weather forecast. These areas will also have cloudy skies and thunderstorms. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly lead to flash floods or landslides. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
