The inaugural FIFA World Cup in 1930, held in Uruguay, wasn’t the massive event we know today. 😮 The final match between Uruguay and Argentina had to take place in front of only a modest crowd, as the world was still unfamiliar with the significance of the tournament. 🏈

It’s wild to think about how the FIFA World Cup started with such a small audience! Back in 1930, the idea of a global soccer tournament was still new, so not many people grasped how big it would become. The final between Uruguay and Argentina must have felt pretty intimate compared to the huge crowds we see today. It’s amazing to see how far the tournament has come since then, turning into a massive celebration of soccer that unites fans from all over the world! ⚽🌍
