Contrary to popular belief, the brain doesn't stop developing after childhood or adolescence. In fact, the prefrontal cortex, associated with complex decision-making and planning, continues to mature into the mid-20s.
Considering the prefrontal cortex's role in complex decision-making, how can we better support young adults (aged 18-25) as they navigate important life choices (e.g., education, career paths)?
