The Loneliest Whale in the World

Scientists discovered a whale in the North Pacific that sings at a frequency of 52 Hertz, much higher than the normal range for blue whales. This frequency is unique, and no other whale in the world is known to produce it. Hence, it's often called the "Loneliest Whale in the World" because it doesn't fit in with any known whale species.
