The most expensive phone number cost millions

Back in 2006, Qatar Telecom hosted a charity auction where they sold the phone number 666-6666.
It sold for $2.75 million, bought by an anonymous bidder.

That’s incredible! A phone number going for $2.75 million shows how valuable certain combinations can be. It’s fascinating how something as simple as a phone number can become such a sought-after status symbol.

Imagine paying $2.75 million just so people can remember your number! I wonder if the bidder actually uses it or if it’s just a flex.

I’ve noticed something strange: some presentations look professional the moment you open them, even if the content is simple, while others look messy no matter how much effort you put in. I’m guessing this has something to do with layout, spacing, maybe color choices? I’ve been reading a bit about ppt design services, but most explanations just focus on fonts and templates. I want to understand what actually creates that “premium” look. Anyone here figured it out?

Yeah, it’s not the templates — it’s the structure. Professionals from the best ppt design services use consistent spacing, alignment grids, limited palettes, and strong hierarchy. That alone makes everything feel clean. I learned a lot about this when I studied work from teams offering a dedicated ppt design service instead of general graphic design. If you want a reference that shows this idea well, check this out:

Even without hiring anyone, just observing their layouts helped me fix my own slides.

Why would you even need it? My staff used to download these when we used mobile telephony in our business. But now it has changed. Life loves throwing small irritations at people, you know. Clients call when you’re away from the desk, managers work remotely, the old phone crackles. A colleague from a neighboring project suggested using Velox Networks system, said he was tired of arguing with people. I set everything up in one evening, and calls started coming through to both the office and the laptop. And the cost was way smaller than with mobiles!
