We humans might think we rule the planet, but when it comes to sheer mass, insects are the true heavyweights! Estimates suggest the total weight of all insects on Earth (including ants, bees, beetles, and countless others) is several times greater than the combined weight of all humans and other large animals.
This fact highlights the incredible abundance and diversity of insects. They play a crucial role in ecosystems as pollinators, decomposers, and food sources for other animals. Despite their small size individually, their sheer numbers make them a dominant force in the biosphere.

While insects are essential, some can be pesky or even dangerous. What's your relationship with insects? Do you find them fascinating or fearsome?
