Eiffel Tower is that it was originally intended to be a temporary structure for the 1889 World's Fair in Paris. Gustave Eiffel, the tower's designer, planned for it to be dismantled after 20 years. However, it was saved because of its utility as a radiotelegraph station. Today, it stands as an iconic symbol of Paris and one of the most visited monuments in the world!
