I just found out that people in the 1920s basically had their own version of memes. There was this cartoon called "The Expectation vs. Reality" guy, and it went viral (in an old-timey way). It was literally the same format as memes now, just with mustaches and monocles. Do you think people in the 1800s had inside jokes that we’ll never understand?
